i'm new to lj & would love to meet some new friends ~
( still building up intro & all that jazz; here's something about me. )

I made the mistake of choosing common usernames & now realize that both 'lawlietta' & 'Yunri' have been used by many other people on the net, and for the record, the majority aren't mine. For the record, I'm not on ModelMayhem, I've never been a gamer, I don't draw (god forbid fanart) or roleplay, I'm not a Filipina kpop/yaoi/Death Note/MapleStory/Gaia fangirl/otaku etc.

The sites I do use are listed above, and I only have one account on those sites. I've also meddled with Xanga, Createblog, a few cosplay sites & webdesign forums, soompi &... I think that's it! I realize that many of the interests between me and these other people overlap, but yeah... unless it's from 2006 or before, you can pretty much recognize me by my tone in the words I type. So please stop confusing me! x]

i was freezing at one am surrounded by lights and
we were shivering in thin shirts, shoulders brushing;
i'm going to miss the quiet laughs, car rides, idling
days, the ordinary skinship. i'm going to miss it.

I think I'm going to give up Sac Anime summer for ALA (Anime Los Angeles) this winter. Sometimes, cosplay seems like the antisocial-greasy-white-otaku-pretends-to-be-a-Pokemon-or-Sephiroth-&-is-in-self-denial thing to do in NorCal, whereas down south it's more pretty-Asian-teens-play-dress-up-and-be-fob-nerds-for-a-day-or-four. I dunno, it's much happier and I feel a lot more at home. xD Not to say I'm a pretty Asian teen but that's a whole different issue.

About SoCal~ I've been thinking about Los Angeles a lot and I think I want to move down there for the next few years. Of course, I have to actually get into a SoCal school first, but aside from the smog and flatness, I really love how exciting it is. Plus, Oliver (oldest bro) is in Pasadena for Art Center, and my parents would get a house in the area - I'm not really ready to be physically far from my fam just yet. Ed's in North Carolina (Duke University) but that can't be helped... supposedly it's gorgeous over there, but just, no. xD California love!!

SPEAKING OF WHICH. SCHOOL STARTS ON WEDNESDAY. MOTHER EFFING GOODNESS. EMOOOO. I DON'T CARE IF IT'S SENIOR YEAR.

Also, it's been nearly two weeks and I still can't stop watching this! MINZYISM. ♥

It seems like I'm unable to write short posts; my life isn't very interesting so I make up for it by putting all these little details into something that looks more worthwhile xD
